Combined with gum recession, an older dental implant crown trapped food underneath the gums. As such, the dental implant always looked dirty and unclean. Los Gatos dentist, Dr. Lin, removed the old crown from the dental implant, custom-designed a new one, and correctly positioned it along her gums to create a better seal. This prevented food from getting caught between her gums and the dental implant and gave her an improved cosmetic outcome.
