Oral Cancer Screenings
As with any cancer, oral cancer can be treated if diagnosed in its earliest stages. Signs that may point to this condition include:
- A reddish-white mouth lesion that persists for more than two weeks
- Soreness in the back of your throat and pain when swallowing
- Lumps in your mouth that seem to grow and change in size and color
- Issues with swallowing, chewing, or tongue movement.
As part of every exam, Dr. Lin or one of our hygienists will perform a screening for these tell-tale signs of oral cancer.
