This patient's journey began with her orthodontist, who referred her to my practice. As an adolescent, she underwent orthodontic treatment and composite veneers. Her previous composite bonding had reshaped her teeth, but after her orthodontist straightened them, she still had tooth size discrepancies that left spaces between her teeth.
Composite veneers are an ideal treatment for teens as their smiles develop because they are not a permanent solution. Composite resin is an effective and affordable way to reshape teeth and enhance smiles. Still, in the future, you may need to update your veneers again with new composite resin or porcelain veneers, as this patient did.
